The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.casstrom.com and with Casström AB. Placing an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

The Contract between us
By placing an order, you are making an offer which Casström AB can either accept or decline. We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm if your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. The agreement is governed by Swedish law.

Currencies Accepted
We accept orders in Swedish Kronor (SEK), Danish Kronor (DKK) and Euro (EUR).


Delivery of goods                        

Items that are in stock will be dispatched the next working day after receipt of cleared payment under normal circumstances, however during very busy periods this may be sent out within 1-5 working days. Non-stock items may take up to 30 days (see further details under the Shipping & Returns section).

You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Please note that we cannot guarantee the delivery timescales - for example, during busy periods and adverse weather conditions deliveries may be subject to delays. We can provide proof of posting and tracking information for all of our deliveries.

Before placing an order from outside Sweden, please ensure that the import of knives, leather goods, and wooden products, for example, is permitted in your country. It is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of and comply with their local laws and regulations regarding such items.


Shipping and handling

We ship worldwide (if your country is not listed on our website, please contact us to ascertain if delivery is possible). Shipping charges for orders within Sweden are based on the weight and relative cost of postage to your location. We will send items by either standard, recorded, or special delivery via the Swedish postal service Posten, Schenker, DHL, or UPS depending on the item(s) being sent. Shipping charges will be confirmed before you confirm your order.
You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import, or other permits to purchase goods from our site.

Please note: If you are ordering from outside Sweden or the EU, you may be subject to import duties, taxes, or other customs fees upon delivery, depending on the regulations in your country. We recommend you checking with your local customs office for more information prior to placing an order.

Cancellations and returns

Your satisfaction is important to us and if you want to cancel your order or return an item please contact us via telephone at +46 (0) 950 - 700 590 or email service@casstrom.se .

Please feel reassured that each item is inspected before dispatch.

If you have received damaged or faulty goods, then we will either replace them or credit you for the goods. The same applies if an incorrect item was sent out, i.e. a different item to the one which was ordered. We will refund your delivery charges.

Items will need to be sent back using a recorded postal service. Only when the item/s are received by us can a refund be issued.

If you simply do not like what you bought, then once you have returned it, we will credit you for the order.

All goods must be returned within 30 days of receiving the order. Goods must be returned unused and in an "as new" condition. Goods will need to be sent back using a recorded postal service, postal charges will not be reimbursed in this case.

Only when items have been received back can a refund be issued for the item(s) in question. Please ensure that the original packaging is kept and used for returns, no reimbursement will be made for replacement packaging required if the original packaging has been destroyed.

Cancellation by Casström AB

We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if: we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; we do not deliver to your area or country; or one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by email and will re-credit your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card or other payment method as soon as possible. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for inconvenience, or disappointment suffered.


Enquiries and complaints

If you contact us with an enquiry or complaint, it is our policy to aim to reply to you within one business day of the initial call or email.

Events beyond our control
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by an event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, or breakdown of systems.


Knives

We do not supply knives, implements or tools to persons under the age of 18 years of age. By placing an order with Casström AB you declare that you are 18 years of age or over. These items must be used responsibly and appropriately in accordance with the law of the country, and common sense.


Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy.
We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the best practice.
We do not pass your information to any third parties your explicit agreement, except where required by law and in order to fulfil delivery of your orders and process your payments. You will be asked to confirm your wish to receive information and communication from us in the future. If you wish to stop receiving any information about us and our services, please email your request to service@casstrom.se
We do not see or collect your credit card details as they are processed via our webshop provider Textalk, through a secure web space.

Disclaimer

Except as precluded by Swedish law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of, under or in connection with the contract between us and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded, nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
By placing an order on our site you are confirming that you have read and understand and agree to the terms set out or described on this website.
